All Black Everything
People have been doing the same old-same old for decades in the car culture. We tend to flock to the same platforms - case in point: mk4s - and do very similar things to them. It's not to say that there aren't cars that completely stick out from the crowd, but it makes it that much more awesome when someone really thinks outside the box and shows us something completely different and new.
When I received the pictures and details of this feature in my inbox, I have to say I was concerned. This was really outside my genre and I wasn't sure what to expect. Luckily, I was entirely blown away. What we have here is that something new, something different that we all want to see. I'm excited that we get to bring that to you today.
Stepping out of the box in this case started from purchasing a different platform to work with. This Chrysler 300 has a little bit of all the best. The first thing to catch my eye, something thats pretty foreign to my sheltered euro world, is the 22's that manage to stand out even in a sain black finish on the black background. They are Giovanna Dalar-5 Limiteds that sit at 22x9 in the front and 22x10.5 in the rear. I have to admit the bigger wheels definitely sit pretty damn perfect on this car - and the fact that it's on air, Air Lift in fact, with Brembo SRT brakes, well, need I say anything else.
You know it doesn't end there though. The list of enhancements goes on and on, top to bottom, inside to outside. With wheels like those, there had to be some other mods to set it all off and tie it together. From the two-tone paint to the M37 vertical grill to the Xenon front bumper- the choices on this car a flawless. Everything fits together to a T. The car also features eyelids, painted tails with LED strips, LED fog light strips, honeycomb grill inserts, custom badges, and tints all around, all black everything.
With an eye catching outside, this car was sure to draw attention. We all know that you need to put together the whole package though and this car does that. The outside definitely gets a second look and when you do, you'll see an awesome sound system on the inside as well as with some well-chosen mods. The sound system consists of a Pioneer DVD/Navigation head unit, custom fiberglass enclosure for two 12" subs and a Kicker amp.
Not only is the car a pleasure to look at, but it's been made a dream to drive with a SRT seat swap. There is also a 22Elite leather console cover, purple LED dash lighting and custom fiberglass overhead console and radio bezel.
Clearly this car is a step outside of my comfort zone, but in the world of auto tuning that's a good thing. It's important for people to go out of the box and do something new, which is what we get a chance to see here. We hope that one persons plans, build and dreams help to motivate you all to try something new with your mods. Huge props have to go out on this vision and build, hopefully there is more to come.
